Zhanel Sabirova

Zhanel Sabirova is an Intern at the Caspian Policy Center and a master’s student at Georgetown University’s Center for Eurasian, Russian, and East European Studies. Her research interest focuses on climate and energy policy, urban development, and clean energy transition in Central Asia. Originally from Karagandy, Kazakhstan, she brings experience in education administration and public policy, including her work with the Kazakhstan National Federation of Clubs for UNESCO as a project-manager.
